Applications
- You can only apply through a Designated Securities Broker or a Placing Bank. The list of Designated Securities Brokers and Placing Banks is expected to be uploaded to this website on 13 August 2026. Further information in relation to the application for the Silver Bond Series is available in the issue circular.
- Any application for the Silver Bond series should be made solely on the basis of the information contained in the issue circular and the programme circular.
Eligibility criteria
- You can only apply for the Silver Bond Series if you (i) hold a valid Hong Kong identity card; and (ii) were born on or before 31 December 1967.
Multiple applications not allowed
- You may only submit one application for the Silver Bond Series. Multiple applications will be rejected in full.
^HKSAR Government may, having regard to prevailing circumstances and other relevant consideration, make further changes to any date(s) set out above (including the subscription period and issue date) by making an announcement on www.hkma.gov.hk and on www.hkgb.gov.hk.
